Very much at the top-end of US Pinot Noir and a very worthy addition to la place’s autumn offering. Refined yet punchy. But ever so slightly soapy. The oak, too, is just a little obvious at this nascent stage and I would like to retaste this in a year or two to see how it beds in. But this is impressively done. Juicy. Sapid.
