Die Nase ist direkt nach dem Öffnen voll da und sehr komplex, ein Hauch angekohltes Holz, Lakritze, viele dunkle Früchte, Backpflaumen, schwarze Kirschen, Johannisbeeren und auch etwas Veilchen finden sich in diesem faszinierenden Duftbild. Der Auftakt ist fleischig, rund und konzentriert, die knackige, dunkle Frucht wird von einem Strukturkorsett aus feinsten, perfekt reifen Gerbstoffen und einer frischen Säure getragen, das Holz ist kaum wahrnehmbar, bestens integriert, trotz fast 15% Alkohol ist der Wein elegant und in keiner Weise üppig, die Element sind top balanciert. Der Abgang präsentiert sich frisch und mit einem Mix aus dunklen und roten Beeren. Der 2019er Siepi endet leicht rauchig und hinterlässt Aromen von Sauerkirschen und Brombeeren. Ausgezeichnet, schon jetzt, mit viel Kraft, Charme und Eleganz". - 96 Punkte
